UP Crime: In Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun district, a 15-year-old girl was married forcefully whose husband along with the in-laws used to physically torture the girl.
The accused used electric wires, hot tava, and screw driver on the girl, causing pain and injuried to her.
The victim has filed a complaint with the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) where she informed that the she got pregnant with his husband but the latter and his family was not happy with the news.
Hence, they asked to abort the child. The victim alleged that her in-laws made several attempts to kill the child but failed.

Later, the accused husband threw the girl out of the house so she came to Delhi at her parent’s house where she is currently residing.
DCW seeks report by December 22
Issuing a notice to the Delhi Police, DCW chairperson Swati Malliwal has sought a detailed report on the matter. She has asked for a copy of the FIR regsitered, action taken and the informtion regarding the arrest of the accused.
However, the commission has sought answers to the police if the accused has not been arrested yet.
