Bihar News: After the violence in Gujarat and Bengal in a wake of the Ramnavami procession, violence, arson, stone pelting and vandalism have now taken place in Nalanda and Sasaram in Bihar. Many policemen have been injured in the stone pelting. The administration has imposed section 144 in the violence-affected areas. Police and paramilitary forces are marching.

BJP MP Sushil Kumar Modi has appealed to the people to maintain peace. He said that the police should investigate the matter and take strict action against the vandalists.

In Bihar, two groups clashed near Gagan Diwan of Laheri police station area of Nalanda. Stone pelting and burning of vehicles also took place. Police and administration officials present on the spot are present.

According to information, sloganeering was happening during the procession. That’s when those stone pelting happened. After this, both communities clashed and started pelting stones at each other. Angry people also started arson. Firing also took place from one side. Due to this, two youths involved in the procession were injured. His condition is serious.
