Noida: The work on the Bhangel elevated road is again stuck due to the budget. On the basis of the consultant’s report, the Noida Authority will decide whether the budget should be increased or not. Even after the report of IIT, the pictures have not been cleared yet, so on the basis of the consultant’s report, the authority will take further decisions.

The work on a 4.5-kilometre-long elevated road from Sector-42 Agahpur Petrol Pump to Noida Special Economic Zone has been going on for the last 3 years. At present, 63% of its work has been completed, but construction has stopped on the budget for further work.

The agency carrying out the construction work, Setu Nigam, has demanded an increase in its budget from 100 to 150 crores, and the authority is not ready for this. The authority says that the budget will be increased only when the reports of the two agencies come in. Although its construction started with the permission of Rs 468 crore, which is increasing continuously,

Recently, IIT sent its report to the authority for an investigation into this matter. Ritu Maheshwari said that it is not clear from the IIT report whether the budget should be increased or not. The report given by IIT does not seem correct. In such a situation, the report of the consultant is now awaited, and after the report of the consultant, the authority will decide whether to increase the budget or not.
