All of the members of the family attended the wedding about 8 months ago. The girl was home alone. Taking advantage of this, the accused forced the girl to consume a cold beverage laced with intoxicants. After that, he raped her. The rape suspect had also prepared a video in which he was intimidating the victim.
The accused threatened to go viral with the footage. It was advised not to contact the police. She then changed her address. Despite this, the accused utilised social media to spread the footage last month. She then filed a FIR on January 6th.

The accused was apprehended from Jethian mountain in the district by authorities from the women’s police station late Tuesday evening. The accused teenager has been identified as a Navodaya Vidyalaya pupil. In this regard, Ravi Ranjana, the lady police station chief, stated that the accused youth had been apprehended.
The girl accused him of rape, blackmail, and spreading pornographic videos by intoxicating her with a cold drink. During the course of the investigation, the accused youth, a Patwatoli native, was apprehended and imprisoned. More action is being taken.
