The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is set to give another good news to Noida residents. As per reports, YEIDA is expected to launch new residential scheme this year. Under this scheme, the plots will be allotted in Sector 18, off the Yamuna Expressway. Registration for this scheme will begin soon with Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) and will be notified by the authorities. This scheme will help to meet the growing demands of residential plots and benefit the people wishing to own home in Noida around Jewar airport.
YEIDA has launched two residential plot schemes till last year (2024). The first scheme was launched in July and offered 363 plots. It had received over two lakh applications, as per reports. The second residential scheme offering 451 plots was launched in November. This scheme also attracted home buyers and received more than one lakh applications.
Homebuyers To Benefit
Recently, there has been a growing demand of residential plots near Jewar Airport which has prompted the authorities to launch more residential schemes. TV9 quoted, Yamuna Authority’s OSD Shailendra Bhatia, the scheme will be launched as soon as the process of registration with RERA is completed.
As per reports, the new schemes will utilise land in Sector 18, which was stuck in legal dispute. Notably, the Yamuna Authority had launched a plot scheme for Sector 18 and 20 in 2009. However, the plots could not be developed due to disputes and court cases. Now, with the disputes resolved, the authority plans to launch the scheme on these lands.
Other Scheme
Meanwhile, homebuyers can benefit from another scheme launched by the Greater Noida Authority. The Greater Noida Authority has launched a scheme for unsold residential plots from earlier projects. These plots are located in Sector-2, Delta-2 and Beta-2 of Greater Noida West. According to reports, a total of 10 plots, ranging from 51.51 sqm to 500 sqm, will be allotted through e-auction. You can register for these plots until January 25.
