People around the world often view New York as a clean, developed, and advanced city, almost like heaven. Many Indians imagine their transportation system as world-class, influenced by how Hollywood movies portray it. However, A YouTuber from Delhi showed a completely different side of New York’s famous subway. As per the video shared by him, it revealed that the metro is not as clean or perfect as people usually imagine. His video removed the polished and glamorous image that many people have of the subway system. The metro was filled with human waste, littered with rats, and much more.
Delhi-Based YouTuber
Love Solanki Rudrakash, a Delhi-based YouTuber currently on a solo trip across the US, recently posted a reel on Instagram that reveals the less glamorous side of New York’s famous metro system. His video shows scenes that are quite different from the clean and advanced image often shown in movies. The reel has now gone viral and sparked a wide conversation on social media, as it highlights parts of the city that many tourists usually don’t experience.
Shocking Scenes Highlighted
In the footage shared by Rudrakash we can see intoxicated passengers in the stations, the video captures platforms covered in litter and rats freely running along the tracks. It also shows human waste, including feces and urine, on the station floors- clearly lacking any signs of proper cleaning or upkeep. In his posts he says that a few has been seeing using the metro without a proper ticket.
What He Wrote: After a very successful part one, I’m coming with part two because there is so much I can shoot in the subway. I cannot even explain though I love seeing people with so much amazing outfits. But when I take a breath, I smell piss.
