New Delhi: A horrific road accident occurred in Lakhimpur Khiri district of Uttar Pradesh. Eight people have died in the collision that occurred between a bus and a truck. More than 25 people have been injured seriously.
The injured have been admitted to the district hospital. Meanwhile, the condition of several people is being said to be critical.
ADM of Lakhimpur Khiri, Sanjay Kumar said, ‘ died, over 25 people injured in a private bus-truck collision in Lakhimpur Kheri. Some of the injured have been referred to Lucknow.”

Meanwhile the CMO has said, “CM Yogi Adityanath has condoled the loss of lives& directed officials to immediately go to the spot.”

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep grief over the road accident in Lakhimpur Khiri. He has directed the District Magistrate and senior police officers to visit the spot of the accident. He has also instructed them to take the injured to the hospital and provide immediate medical assistance as per their requirement.
