A strange case of ‘love’ has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur. A 60-year-old woman from the city’s Sadar Bazar neighbourhood fell in love with her 42-year-old nephew. She is adamant on marrying him, but his nephew is opposed. According to him, Mami’s love is the result of a scheme. She wishes to seize his possessions.

The young man claims that his maternal aunt forwarded a forged marriage certificate to his future in-laws. As a result, his marriage proposal fell through. The woman’s children are also on her side. The woman and her family broke into the residence and ransacked it.

The police have filed a case against five persons, including the accused woman, based on Tahrir. The police are looking into the situation.

The young man filed a complaint at the police station, claiming that his maternal uncle died under strange circumstances on March 2, 2022. Mama has little children as well. The youth own clothing stores. Aunt’s purpose appears to be to steal his possessions.

According to the young man, his maternal aunt began pressuring him to marry. The adolescent rejected, citing a personal bond. The woman then went over the edge. The house of the young man was attacked.

The young guy claims that on December 16 at seven o’clock, his maternal aunt, together with her two sons, daughter-in-law, and others, entered and plundered his home and assaulted him. He filed a police report after being disturbed by his aunt’s behaviour.

The young man stated that his wedding will take place on December 28, but five days before that, the maternal aunt mailed a bogus marriage certificate to the address of the in-laws’ house. His marriage was dissolved as a result of this. The police opened an investigation once the Tahrir arrived.
