Gold Price Today: Ahead of Dhanteras and Diwali, there is a continuous decline in the price of gold and silver. Therefore, this year there is a lot of enthusiasm among the people regarding the purchase of the yellow metal. In such a situation, the Indian bullion market has been buzzing for the last several days and the market is witnessing tremendous excitement.
Today gold became cheaper by Rs 227, while the price of silver is seen falling by Rs 245. After this fall, gold is selling below Rs 50000 and silver is selling near Rs 56000. Not only this, gold is getting cheaper by about Rs 6000 per 10 grams and silver at the rate of about Rs 24,200 per kg from the all-time high.

Gold and Silver status on IBJA
According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), on the third day of this trading week, on Wednesday (October 19), gold became cheaper by Rs 227 per ten grams and opened at Rs 50135 per ten grams. Whereas on the last trading day on Tuesday, gold became costlier by Rs 8 per ten grams and closed at Rs 50362 per 10 grams.
On the other hand, today silver (Silver Price Update) became cheaper by Rs 245 per kg and opened at Rs 55765 per kg. Whereas on the last trading day on Tuesday, silver became costlier by Rs 399 and closed at Rs 55765 per kg.
Gold and Silver Rates on MCX
Like the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) too, silver along with gold is trading with a fall today. Today on MCX, gold is cheaper by Rs 130 and is at Rs 50,284 level. While silver is trading at Rs 56,160 with a fall of Rs 194.

Gold 5800 and silver 23800
At present, gold is selling cheaper by about Rs 6065 per 10 grams than its all-time high. Gold had made its all-time high in August 2020. At that time gold had gone up to the level of Rs 56,200 per ten grams. At the same time, silver was getting cheaper at the rate of about Rs 24215 per kg from its highest level. The highest ever level of silver is Rs 79980 per kg. In such a situation, for those who are planning to buy gold or silver, this can prove to be a good buying opportunity for them.
