New Delhi: Royal Enfield is riding a wave of motorcycle launches. After launching the all-new Hunter 350 in India this month, the company is now gearing up for its next big launch, the Himalayan 450. The all-new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has been officially unveiled for the very first time. This ADV can debut in India early next year.

The official teaser of the upcoming Himalayan 450 was released by the company’s CEO Siddhartha Lal on his social media platforms. This short video clip reveals the bike going through a water crossing field test. A full LED headlamp and LED indicators can also be seen on the Himalayan 450, which is a first for any Royal Enfield motorcycle so far.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will be powered by an all-new 450cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. WIt is expected to churn out around 40bhp and 45Nm of peak torque. The engine should be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. This ADV is also likely to get a large fuel tank and a digital instrument panel.

On the hardware front, the Himalayan 450 gets upside-down front forks and an offset mono-shock at the rear. It is likely to ride on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear tires with spoked wheels. For braking, the motorcycle disc brakes will be available at both ends with dual-channel ABS. After the launch, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will line up like the KTM 390 Adventure, Yezdi Adventure etc.
