However, the WagonR was the second best-selling vehicle in September, while the Alto was the best-selling vehicle. That is, in September, the Maruti Alto outsold the Maruti WagonR. Maruti Alto sold a total of 24,844 cars, while WagonR sold 20,078 units.

Maruti Suzuki Alto Price

Suzuki’s Alto lineup consists of two models: the Alto 800 and the recently announced Alto K10. The Alto 800 costs between Rs 3.39 Lakh and Rs 5.03 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the Alto K10 costs between Rs 3.99 Lakh and Rs 5.84 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Maruti Suzuki Alto Engine Options

The Alto 800 is powered by a 0.8-litre, 3-cylinder BS6 petrol engine. It produces 48 PS and 69 Nm torque on petrol and 41 PS and 60 Nm torque on CNG. Suzuki Alto sports a 5-speed manual transmission (MT).

At the same time, the Alto K10 is available with a 1.0-litre petrol engine. It has a power output of 67PS and a torque output of 89Nm. CNG is not currently available in this model. It has a 5-speed manual (standard) and an AMT transmission (optional).

Keyless entry, front electric windows, dual airbags, rear parking sensors, and ABS with EBD are standard on the Alto 800. At the same time, the Alto K10 includes many more features in addition to all of the characteristics. The Alto K10 comes standard with a digital instrument cluster, steering-mounted controls, and power-adjustable ORVMs.
