Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Facelift: Price, features and much more!

New Delhi: Hyundai Motor has launched the facelift version of its Grand i10 Nios in the country, which has the option of CNG along with petrol. The initial ex-showroom price of this car has been kept at Rs 5.69 lakh. Customers can book it online or through the dealership for a token amount of Rs 11,000.

How is the design?

This new car has been given an advanced cabin with many cosmetic changes, which looks quite premium. In terms of design, the new Grand i10 Nios gets a painted black radiator grille and LED daytime running lamps combined with a body-coloured front bumper. It also gets sweptback styled projector headlamps. It gets new styled 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, sharkfin antenna and new styled LED tail-lamps.


How is the engine?

The new Grand i10 Nios uses a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 83 PS at 6,000rpm and 113.8 Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and an AMT transmission option.

Also, the car gets the option of factory fitted CNG, which is mated to the same 1.2L petrol engine. On CNG, this engine produces 69PS of power at 6000rpm and 95.2Nm of peak torque. The option of a 5-speed manual gearbox has been given with this option.


2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios to feature Android Auto, voice recognition and rear air-con vents, cruise control, fast USB charger, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with smartphone navigation, new gray upholstery with piping and Nios embossing , Smartkey with push button start / stop, automatic AC, Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging, new footwell lighting, leather coated steering wheel and metallic finished door handles.


Will be available in 6 colors

The new Grand i10 Nios has been brought in 6 monotone color options. Which includes colors like Spark Green, Polar White, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Teal Blue and Fairy Red. Also, options like Spark Green with Black Roof and Polar White with Black Roof have been given in the dual-tone scheme.

Special care has been taken for security

Taking care of safety in the new Grand i10 Nios, four airbags have been given as standard, while 2 extra curtain airbags have also been given in the top-end variant. Along with this, the car also gets electronic stability control (ESC), rear parking sensors, tire pressure monitoring system, vehicle stability management (VSM), hill start assist control, parking assist and rear camera with audio display.

Will compete with Maruti Suzuki Swift

The Maruti Swift gets a 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine, which produces 90 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. Idle start-stop feature is also available in this car for better mileage. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox.
