New Delhi: If you’re planning to buy a 200cc performance bike, then we’ve got you covered with two great options. In which the first is Bajaj’s recently launched bike Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the second is TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.

TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS200 look

Talking about the looks of both bikes, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 bike is built on a perimeter frame. The bike has a muscular fuel tank, a square halogen headlight, clip-on handlebars, an underbelly exhaust system and an elegant LED taillight.

The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, on the other hand, is built on a twin-cradle frame. It features a sculpted fuel tank with extensions, a sharp-looking LED headlight, wide handlebars, a twin-barrel single exhaust system and a slim LED tail light. . While both bikes have the same 17-inch alloy wheels.

The company has put a 199.5cc single-cylinder, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine in its Bajaj Pulsar that produces a maximum power of 24.13bhp and a peak torque of 18.5Nm.

At the same time, TVS offers a 197.75 cc single-cylinder, four-valve, air-oil-cooled engine in its Apache RTR 200 4V, which is capable of delivering a maximum power of 20.2 bhp and a peak torque of 16.8 Nm. For the transmission, 6-speed gearbox was given in Bajaj Pulsar and 5-speed in Apache.

Features of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS200

For a better driving experience, the dual-channel anti-lock system is equipped with disc brakes on both wheels of both wheels. Talking about the front forks, Pulsar NS200 gets inverted front forks and Apache 200 gets telescopic front forks. In addition, the bike has a mono-shock at the rear with adjustable preload.

Which bike is better?

Bajaj recently launched its new Pulsar 2023 NS200 in the domestic market at Rs 1.47 lakh, while TVS introduced its Apache RTR200 4V at Rs 1.45 lakh ex-showroom.

TVS’s Apache is ahead of Bajaj’s Pulsar in terms of looks and design, but Bajaj Pulsar is ahead because of powerful engine and better suspension characteristics.
