The Bajaj Chetak sets apart in the segment due to its very minimalistic and classic design. It features a smooth and curvy design. The headlights setup remains similar to its previous generations which gives it a retro styling.
Honda electric scooter is built on the same platform as of the existing Activa on sale. It has the similar design and also comes with sleek LED combination in the front as well rear. This LED setup gives it a futuristic look.

The Bajaj Chetak is powered by a 4.2 kW motor. This motor gives a claimed range of 123 km per charge and the top speed is limited upto 63 km/h. The Honda Activa e is powered by two swappable battery packs. The motor produces an output of 4.2 KW and a maximum output of 6 KW. Activa e can achieve upto a claimed range of 102km which sufficient for daily commuters.
Bajaj Chetak Vs Honda Activa e: Dimensions
The chetak comes with a ground clearance of 160 mm, and an overall length of 1894 mm. It has a seat height of 760, 134 kg kerb weight and has a wheelbase of 1330 mm.
The Honda Activa e comes with a ground clearance of 171 mm, and an overall length of 1854 mm. It is 700 mm wide, 1125 mm in height and has wheelbase of 1310 mm.
Price Comparison
The Bajaj Chetak is priced at Rs 99,998 (ex-showroom) and goes up till Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top spec. However, Honda has not revealed the pricing yet but it is expected to be priced around Rs 1 lakh.
In conclusion, it comes down to one’s personal preference, both the electric scooters are excellent choice. The Bajaj Chetak offers a mix of retro styling with its curvy design. On the other hand, The Honda Activa e has a futuristic design with modern features.
