New Delhi: Hyundai has officially announced the launch date of its midsize sedan new generation Verna. This upcoming car will be launched on 21 March 2023. The company has opened its booking. If you also want to buy this car, then you can book by visiting the authorized dealership or by visiting the company’s website online with a token amount of Rs 25,000. The new generation will come in four trims EX, S, SX and SX(O). Hyundai has also released the teaser of this car, in which the exterior look of Verna has been shown. The car will compete with the upcoming Honda City.

These will be big changes
A lot of changes will be seen in this upcoming car. Talking about the interiors, the upcoming new Verna is expected to get a full digital instrument cluster with a large touchscreen display which will make the car look more premium. In terms of powertrain, it will get a new 1.5 Turbo GDi petrol engine, which will be available with 6-speed manual transmission (6MT) and 7-speed dual clutch transmission (7DCT). The upcoming Verna line-up will get the 1.5L naturally aspirated engine as the other engine. Talking about the features of new generation Verna, it will be equipped with ADAS feature. Along with this, features like cooled seats, sunroof, powered seats, automatic emergency braking, front collision mitigation, lane keep assist, lane warning will be available.

What will be the look
Talking about the design and look of the new generation Verna, the teaser shows that it will be seen in a sportier notchback style. Also, a split headlamp set-up and a full-width LED daytime running lamp will be given. A wraparound design will be seen on the LED taillights just like the new Elantra. At the same time, its grill has been made bigger than before. Many cuts and creases will be seen in the doors and fenders.
