Islamabad: A Video of the attacker targeting the former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan has surfaced on the internet.

A firing was reported on Thursday near the container of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief’s container near Zafar Ali Khan chowk in Wazirabad.

According to media reports, Khan sustained bullet injuries on his leg. The police said that the suspect who opened fire on Khan’s container has been arrested.

As seen in the video, which surfaced on the internet, the crowd dispersed quickly after the firing incident. The shooter was manhandled on the ground immediately.

Several other people, including PTI leader Faisal Javed, also sustained injuries.

PTI’s Imran Ismail has said that party chief Imran Khan has been shot in the leg “three to four” times.

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has confirmed that Imran Khan was shot in the leg in a targeted attack during the long march in Wazirabad today.
