New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Nepali counterpart Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Thursday together flagged off an Indian Railway cargo train from Bathnaha in Bihar to Nepal Custom Yard.
Both the leaders jointly inaugurated the integrated check posts at Rupaidiha in India and Nepalgunj in Nepal. The check post is built with India’s assistance. PM Modi and his Nepali counterpart also unveiled integrated check posts at the Sanauli border in India and Bhairahawa in Nepal.
Both leaders agreed to give pace to the Gorakhpur-New Butwal 400 KV cross-border transmission line. Both PMs laid the foundation stone of Phase II of the Motihari-Amlekhgunj Oil Pipeline Project.
