Mother allegedly gives alcohol-filled milk to quiet 1.5-month old Infant

California: A distressing incident has come to light in California, America, where a mother is accused of filling a milk bottle with alcohol to silence her one-and-a-half-month-old baby. The shocking act resulted in the hospitalization of the seven-week-old infant due to intoxication.

For a child, a mother is their first and foremost source of comfort and security. However, this unfortunate event showcases a disturbing breach of that sacred trust. The incident occurred when a 37-year-old woman named Honesty de la Torre allegedly filled her baby’s bottle with alcohol in an attempt to stop the child from crying.

Reports suggest that the incident unfolded around 12:45 am on a Saturday near Rialto, approximately 55 miles east of Los Angeles. The baby, just seven weeks old, was crying persistently during a car ride with the accused woman. At a point, she halted the car and proceeded to fill the milk bottle with alcohol in a misguided attempt to quiet the infant.

The ramifications of this act were severe, leading to the child’s intoxication and subsequent hospitalization. The infant’s current health condition has not been disclosed.
