“Rumours of Bhai’s death are baseless. He is 1,000% fit,” Chhota Shakeel, a close aide of Dawood Ibrahim, told TOI on Monday. Shakeel, overseeing D-Company’s global operations, labeled the speculations on social media platforms, particularly in Pakistan, as mischievous rumors.
Amid these whispers, an internet shutdown in Pakistan amplified the hearsay. Shakeel, after visiting Dawood in Pakistan, assured that Dawood, popularly known as ‘Bhai’, is in good shape.
However, reports indicating the potential demise of fugitive terrorist Dawood Ibrahim have emerged, suggesting that he may have passed away in a Karachi hospital following a reported poisoning attempt. Reliable sources disclosed this information to ABP Live, stating that Dawood was hurried to the hospital after being poisoned and purportedly succumbed to the effects between 8 PM and 9 PM.
While Indian intelligence sources discarded the poisoning rumors due to the extensive security ring around Dawood, including ISI agents guarding him, they hinted at a potential recent hospitalization at a military base.
The speculation around Dawood’s health surged against the backdrop of peculiar events, including the deaths of jihadi terrorists in Pakistan, drawing attention to the regime’s vigilance amidst upcoming elections in India.

Coinciding with reports about Dawood’s health, social media buzzed with claims of Pakistani cricket legend Javed Miandad’s alleged house arrest, adding to the intrigue.
Pakistan has consistently denied Dawood’s presence despite confirmation from Indian intelligence about his whereabouts. Even amid these recent rumors, Pakistani authorities maintained silence.
Notably, a recent NIA chargesheet disclosed details about Dawood’s personal life, including a second wife named Maizabin, three daughters, and a son.
The narrative surrounding Dawood Ibrahim remains a mix of rumor, speculation, and the ongoing denials by Pakistan, adding layers of intrigue to the mystery of his actual whereabouts and condition.
