New Delhi: Among a lot of countries including Nepal, Bhutan, and Russia wishing India on the occasion of its 77th independence day, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) wished its strategic partner in a unique style. UAE’s Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, was lit up with the tricolor on Tuesday.
‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ and ‘Jai Hind’ were also displayed on the world’s largest building. The Arab country also illuminated, ‘Best wished for 77th Independence Day to Mother India’ and ‘Long live the friendship of India and UAE’.

Meanwhile, Rashtrapati Bhavan, North-South Block, Old Parliament, and several memorials across the nation were illuminated with colors to mark the 77th Independence Day.
A video with the tune of the national anthem was posted on Burj Khalifa
Burj Khalifa, on its Instagram account, posted a video of the tricolor being lit to the tune of the national anthem on it. “Burj Khalifa is celebrating India’s Independence Day today. Wishing the people of India a day full of celebration and pride. You are celebrating the rich history and diverse culture of your country. May India continue to shine with progress, unity, and prosperity like this,” the post read.
flag of Pakistan on August 14 and the flag of South Korea on August 15 were also displayed on Burj Khalifa.
