New Delhi: British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Tuesday visited spirtual leader Morari Bapu on the ocassion of Indian Independence Day while the latter was carrying out a ‘Ram Katha’ at Cambridge University in UK.
Sunak pointed out that he did not went down there in capacity of Prime Minister but as a Hindu. He started his address hailing ‘Jai Siyaram’. In response, the people who came to listen to ‘Ramkatha’ also announced Jai Siyaram.
Rishi Sunak said today is India’s Independence Day. He said it is his honor and pleasure to be presented at the Ramkatha of Morari Bapu at Cambridge University.

Faith is Important To Me
The first British Prime Minister of Indian origin further said that faith is very personal to him and it guided him in every aspect of his life.
Lord Ram inspirational to me
Rishi Sunak said that Lord Ram will always be an inspirational figure for him. He said he also remembered the Bhagavad Gita and the Hanuman Chalisa along with the Ramayana on which Bapu spoke.
For him, Sunak added, Lord Ram will always be an inspirational figure to face life’s challenges with courage, rule with humility and work selflessly.
Morari Bapu presented Shivling to PM
Rishi Sunak also participated in the Aarti. Morari Bapu presented him a sacred Shivling from the Somnath Temple as a sacred offering for the Jyotirlinga Ram Katha Yatra.
