Fire at Ghatkopar pizza resturant: One person died on Saturday in a fire at a restaurant in the Mumbai suburb of Ghatkopar, while 22 others were rushed to a hospital after complaining of shortness of breath. Officials predicted that most would be released after receiving first aid.
The fire was reported from a building adjacent to Parekh Hospital on Saturday afternoon, which turned out to be incorrect. The Mumbai Fire Brigade confirmed that the fire was reported from a building adjacent to the hospital. Qurshi Dedhia (46), who was declared dead at the hospital, has been identified as the deceased.
According to ANI, The fire started in Juno’s Pizza Hotel’s metre room in the Vishwas building.

What did the hospitalized patient say?
Shekhar Pongurlekar, admitted to Parakh Hospital after a hernia operation, said that he was shifted from the hospital to another place by his wife. He told that there was a loud noise before the fire broke out. Some patients are taking shelter in the lobby of the building opposite the hospital.
Jethalal Lala, one of those who sought shelter in that building, said, “I was very scared because of the smoke in the hospital. I went down with support… where will I go now.
According to media reports, a fire broke out in the electrical room of the restaurant on Saturday afternoon and Parakh Hospital, located in the same building, had to be evacuated. Fire department officials said that 22 patients have been safely shifted to another medical facility.
