Hyundai Tucson SUV is present in the market in two trims like Platinum and Signature. The company offers it in five monotone and two dual-tone shades, which include Polar White, Phantom Black, Amazon Grey, Starry Night, Polar White with Phantom Black Roof and Fiery Red with Phantom Black Roof.

Dimension

The SUV measures 4,630 mm in length, 1,865 mm in width and 1,665 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2755 mm. This SUV is offered in a five seater configuration.

Engine and Transmission

Hyundai Tucson is present in the market with two engine options, in which a 2-litre diesel engine generates 186PS power and 416Nm torque, while the other 2-litre petrol engine generates 156 PS power and 192 Nm torque. Both the engines are available with a torque-converter automatic gearbox. An 8-speed unit is available with the diesel engine and a 6-speed gearbox with the petrol. The top-end diesel engine also gets an all-wheel-drivetrain.

Features

Hyundai’s SUV will get over 60 features including a 10.25-inch touchscreen display, a 10.25-inch driver’s display, connected car technology with remote operation, a panoramic sunroof and dual-zone climate control, powered, heated and ventilated front seats and wireless phone charging. Connected car features are available.

In terms of safety features, it gets six airbags, a 360-degree camera, hill hold/descent control, all-wheel disc brakes and an advanced driver-assistance system. ADAS technology includes features such as blind-spot monitoring and collision mitigation, auto emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, high-beam assist and lane-keep assist.

Competes with Jeep Compass

This car competes with Jeep’s Compass SUV. In which there is a diesel and a petrol engine option. However, the company has now announced to discontinue the petrol engine in it.
