Will you ever try ‘Bhindi Noodles’? See pics of Myanmar restaurant’s unique dish
New Delhi: A Twitter user shared a photo of a dish called "Bhindi Noodles," which she tried at a restaurant in Myanmar. The restaurant named Chill Pot Mala Xiang Guo is situated in Yangon. As a review, she said it tasted delicious.
The woman recognized as Satabdi tweeted the photo with the caption, "Tried some Bhendi (bhindi/okra/ladies fingers) noodles Yangon, Myanmar."
Satabdi also noted in a tweet that diners at the restaurant can select their own vegetables or meat. The bhindi and other vegetables were sautéed together before the noodles were added. She also discovered that the natives in Myanmar eat okra raw.
While Chinese Hakka noodles are a popular dish that may be bought at roadside shops or made at home with various vegetables, adding bhindi to noodles may be unfamiliar to many.
