New Delhi: A video from Sant Nagar in East Kailash, Delhi is going viral on social media. In the video, an elderly man can be seen beating a couple with a stick in his hand in the parking lot. On inquiry, it was found that the incident occurred on June 23. The dispute over parking increased so much that Naubat reached for scuffles and beatings.

Incident in detail

There was a dispute over parking between the neighbours of B315 and B263 in Sant Nagar, East of Kailash, Delhi. A Delhi Police probe found Daljit Singh, his son Harjap Singh, and his wife Kudrat Kaur attacked Dushyant Goyal, Mona Goyal, and Kaushiki Goyal with sticks during a parking dispute. Despite the refusal, Daljit Singh’s family did not listen and continued to attack with sticks. A case under sections 308, 506, 509, 427, and 323 of the IPC has been registered against the family of Daljit Singh, who attacked Dushyant Goyal’s complaint.

Delhi Police said Daljit Singh and his son Harjap Singh have also been arrested. Both have also been sent to judicial custody. After investigation, sections 148 and 149 of the IPC have been added against both. The anticipatory bail of three women involved in the attack was also rejected. Later, two women were sent to judicial custody. And a woman has been given interim protection from the High Court.
