Despite these regulations, some passengers are frequently observed violating the rules. A video of two women eating samosas inside a metro, placing the food on the seats, has recently gone viral on social media.
In the viral video, two women can be seen removing their slippers and sitting on a seat inside the metro. They take samosas out of a plastic bag and begin eating. At one point, one of the women is observed throwing the waste under the seat. Meanwhile, someone records a video of them. Shortly after being uploaded on Instagram, the video quickly gained widespread attention and went viral.

The video has received over 1.3 million views, and several social media users have commented on the post. Many commenters are showing support for the women. One user wrote, “She is just eating samosas, what is wrong with that?” Another commented, “It would be okay if she were doing mujra, eating pizza or a burger, or holding a Starbucks cup, but not this?” A third user noted, “At least they are not fighting or dancing.” Meanwhile, a fourth user pointed out, “Eating and drinking is prohibited in the metro.”
Despite strict rules from DMRC, such incidents continue to occur. Recently, a video went viral on the internet showing a girl performing an obscene dance. In the video, she was seen twerking, belly dancing, and performing sensual dance moves in front of several passengers onboard. She was later identified as Instagram user @manishadancer.
