Reports described sightings of the meteor across hundreds of kilometers, sparking wonder and speculation among observers. While initial reports indicated the meteor’s trajectory, its exact landing location remained uncertain.
Speculations varied, with some reports suggesting the meteor may have fallen near the town of Castro Daire, while others mentioned proximity to Pinheiro. Despite extensive searches by firefighters in response to multiple reports, no debris or impact site had been located as of the early hours.
