New Delhi: A serial rapists has been identified after almost 40 years. At least 31 women were victim of his lustful crime. He used to target girls as young as 13-years-old to women as old as 55-years-old. People were unaware about the identification of this devil who was hiding behind the face of a common man.
The face of the victim finally came into public domain but he was not able to receive a punishment for his heinous crimes. The cases were from suburbs of Eastern Sydney in Australia. The case are time between 1985 to 2001.
This is how he sexually assaulted women
Keith Simms, living in Australia, committed brutal rapes between 1986 and 2001. From a 15-year-old girl to a 55-year-old woman, he made them all a victim of his lust. This rapist used to rape women by entering their houses or when they used to go out of home. He used to kidnap and sexually assault them. The victim of rape used to tell the police that he was a tall black man. He mostly wore a mask and sports gear. At first the police thought that it was a gang, and different members were involved in the crime.
But on investigation it was found that the criminal was same in all the incidents. Twelve of the victims had identical DNA and another 19 matched the attacker’s modus operandi. Thanks to DNA technology, investigators were able to determine that there was only one person behind all this.
The monster died before facing punishment
The man was identified as Keith Simms who was also dubbed as “The Bondi Beast” or “The Tracksuit Rapist”. By the time the police could reach him, he was dead. Keith Sims died at the age of 66. After his death in February 2022, the police took DNA samples from his family members. They then matched it with the victims. Following this they were able to determine who and how fierce Keith was. His family is still in shock. His wife cannot believe that she lived with a man who used to do such things.
