Man Gets Unexpected Chase by Pet Tiger
Numerous online videos highlight the opulent lifestyle in the United Arab Emirates, where keeping exotic wildlife like cheetahs, tigers, and lions has become a conspicuous status symbol. Wealthy individuals are often seen parading their big cats on public beaches and flaunting their collection of rare animals on social media. However, a recent viral video depicted a pet tiger chasing a man within an extravagant Dubai residence. Some viewers found the footage alarming, expressing worries about the confinement of such animals within a house. The short video was shared by the Instagram page Billionaire's Life Style. A pet tiger is shown in the beginning of the video chasing a man inside the living room of a swanky UAE home. Initially, he is seen smiling as the feline runs behind him, However, he tumbles and falls on the ground but the tiger continues to grab him. The terrified man then tries to stand up and runs again from the pet. One user commented, expressing concern, "So wrong, does not belong here, needs his freedom. This beautiful animal is not a toy." It's worth noting that in 2017, the UAE implemented a ban on the private ownership and trade of wild and dangerous animals. Those found taming such animals as pets face a substantial penalty, including a fine of $136,000 (700,000 Dirham) or a jail term of six months. The law explicitly prohibits the possession and trading of various types of wild and potentially dangerous animals. Only authorized entities such as zoos, wildlife parks, circuses, breeding and research centers are permitted to house wild or exotic animals. The UAE Cabinet has actively encouraged the public to report instances of wild animals being kept as pets. Also Read: Three Months And Still Waiting!
