In Indore, Madhya Pradesh, a snake rescuer recently came face to face with a large cobra inside a house’s toilet commode. The video of this encounter has stunned viewers online with a mix of shock and fascination.

Wildlife rescuer Rajesh Jat shared the video on Instagram. In the footage, Rajesh enters the bathroom where a cobra has sought shelter. Initially challenging to spot, Rajesh uses a hose to coax the cobra out of the toilet by gently spraying water.

As the Indian spectacled cobra emerges from the toilet, tension mounts in the video. Without hesitation, he swiftly seizes the cobra by its tail and removes the struggling reptile from the bathroom. The footage clearly identifies the snake as an Indian spectacled cobra, recognized for its potent venom.

During his interview with Times Now, Rajesh described the tense encounter with a cobra that occurred on the night of April 1st. He recalled receiving a call from an Indore resident who had spotted the snake in their bathroom. Rajesh advised them to monitor the snake cautiously but anxiety prompted them to lock the bathroom door from outside. Upon reaching the scene, Rajesh initially struggled to locate the snake until he discovered it staring back at him from inside the commode.

‘I peered into the commode and observed a dark shape that resembled the mouth of a highly venomous cobra,’ he informed Times Now.

Since its online posting, the video has attracted considerable interest, accumulating thousands of views and sparking numerous reactions in the comment section.

One commenter expressed, ‘My worst nightmare came true,’ while another remarked, ‘Unlocked a new fear.’

Another comment emphasized the peril: ‘The Indian spectacled cobra is a highly venomous snake.’

A curious observer inquired, ‘How did the homeowner spot it?’

In another bold rescue operation, Rajesh confronted a snake hidden within the front light panel of a scooter. The video captures him grasping the snake’s tail and using an iron rod to remove the panel. Inside, the snake remained concealed, likely out of fear. Upon closer inspection, Rajesh identified it as a cobra, known for its deadly venom.
