A viral video from Mathura’s Banke Bihari Temple has gone viral where devotees are seen in queue to get the dripping water from elephant sculpture, believing it to be ‘Charnamrit’. Devotees gathered to get the water from the feet of Lord Krishna. However, they didn’t have idea that the dripping water which was coming from the mouth of elephant sculpture is actually AC water.
They waited in line for having “Holy water” which actually came out to be AC water. Dozens of devotees were seen standing in queue to drink water coming out from an elephant sculpture on the wall.

Some devotees were seen collecting the water in the cups. Some used their palm to consume the water they believed to be “Holy water”.
In the viral video someone called out the water to be of AC not from Lord Krishna’s feet.In India fate triumphs all. A visitor cautioned them in the viral video. Leading to online discussion on impact of superstition. Despite warning the devotees kept on drinking the discharged water from temple’s AC.
The video shared on X handle of a user captioned, “serious education is needed 100%. People are drinking AC water, thinking it ‘Charnamrit’ from feet of God!!” The comment section of filled with multiple viewpoints of users.
What Is ‘Charnamrit’?
Charnamrit is a sweet drink which is known to be holy drink. Charan means feet.
Why AC Water Is Not Good For Health?
AC water contains dust, pollen and other airborne pollutants. Ac units are moist. Water sitting in AC system for longer time gives growth to microbial. Which leads to health issues.
AC contains chemicals from lubricants and metals. Which is extremely harmful for the individuals in any form.
Even minor exposure can give rise to health related issue. AC water does not undergo filtration or purification like drinking water. It lacks mineral and contains heavy metal or harmful elements.
