A scandal has emerged in Ludhiana, Punjab, causing a stir in the administrative department. The entire state is abuzz with discussions about the misdeeds of the husband of a female IAS officer. The man was caught indulging with a foreign woman in a hotel. Currently, Ludhiana Police has filed a case against the accused under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, and the matter is under investigation.

According to the information received, Ludhiana police station division number five was receiving reports of a sex racket operating in a hotel in Sarabha Nagar. It was observed that individuals, both local and foreign, frequented the establishment, and rooms were often rented out to people using fake IDs. Last Friday, locals alerted the police that some individuals had entered the hotel with a foreign girl.
What Did The IAS Officer Say?
Later that night, the police conducted a raid on the hotel situated in front of the gate of Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. During the raid, two men and two women were apprehended while engaging in celebration activities. Upon interrogation, it emerged that one of the men’s wives is an IAS officer in Punjab. Upon being informed about the situation, the police contacted the wife and she instructed them to file a case against the accused. The police have detained the accused individuals.
In September last year, the police busted a high-profile sex racket in the same area. They received information about a sex racket operating under the guise of a spa center in the Sarabha Nagar area.Inderjit Singh, the owner of the Unisex Day Spa Center, along with manager Pallavi Handa and agent Kiratpreet Kaur, were found supplying girls to their customers at the center. Acting on this information, the police conducted a raid on the spa center.
ADCP (Crime) Rupinder Kaur Saran stated that a joint team of the Anti Narcotics Cell and police carried out the raid on the spa center. They arrested Md Dilshad of Malerkotla, Rashid, and Gurmanpreet Singh of Model Town. The police continue to take consistent action against prostitution in the area.
