His death has sent shockwaves through the fashion industry. The news of his passing was shared by his team via a social media post. According to the Italian agency ANAS, Roberto Cavalli passed away in Florence due to a long illness.

Roberto was particularly known for his expertise in animal print designs.

Giorgio Armani has offered his condolences, referring to Cavalli as a “true artist” and expressing that he will be greatly missed. Brazilian model Adriana Lima shared a picture with the fashion designer on her Instagram post, offering her condolences. Former Spice Girl and fashion designer Victoria Beckham has called him an “icon.”
