Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli, known for designing dresses for celebrities ranging from Hollywood to Bollywood, has passed away at the age of 83. His death has sent shockwaves through the fashion industry. The news of his passing was shared by his team via a social media post. According to the Italian agency ANAS, Roberto Cavalli passed away in Florence due to a long illness.

In 2014, Roberto Cavalli’s grilfriend, Sandra Nilsson was 45 years younger than him.. Last year, in 2023, Sandra gave birth to Roberto’s child. Roberto Cavalli had his first marriage with Silvanella Gianonni in 1964. However, their marriage lasted only 10 years, and they separated in 1974. They have two children together, Tomaso and Cristina. After that, Roberto married former Miss Europe model Eva Maria Duringer. He had three children with Eva, namely Robert, Rachele, and Daniele.

Roberto Cavalli founded his own company in the 1970s. He designed dresses for Hollywood stars like Jennifer Lopez, Sofia Loren, Kim Kardashian, as well as Bollywood celebrities including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut, and Priyanka Chopra. Roberto was particularly known for his expertise in animal print designs.

Roberto Cavalli’s passing is indeed a significant loss to the fashion industry. Many celebrities are paying tribute to him through social media. Giorgio Armani has offered his condolences, referring to Cavalli as a “true artist” and expressing that he will be greatly missed. Brazilian model Adriana Lima shared a picture with the fashion designer on her Instagram post, offering her condolences. Former Spice Girl and fashion designer Victoria Beckham has called him an “icon.”
