New Delhi: A 34-year-old man, Michael Joseph, from New York’s Brooklyn earns a whopping Rs 1 crore a year as a ‘dog walker.’ Interestingly, he was previously a full-time teacher and used to earn Rs 30 lakh a year. However now, he is doing what he loves, and  not just earns good money but he has brought a house in Middletown, New Jersey, a car and a family trip to Disneyland. In addition, he has put aside Rs 16 lakh for his 18-year-old kid.

In an interview, Michael said that he was blessed to have this job. He said that he started dog walking back in 2019 as a part-time to earn a little extra. He used to go on a walk with his black Labrador dog, Willy, in Prospect Park and there, other dog owners used to compliment him saying how obedient his pup was. Some people used to ask if he was available to work as a dog trainer and he did not refuse to it.

In July 2019, he started his own business named Parkside Pups. By the end of the year, he earned Rs 28.56 lakh. He charged $20 for a 30 minute walk and had enough clients. Just after a year he started, he had a profit of Rs 1 crore.

Michael says he is more than happy to be a business owner. In fact now, he has even launched an app for his business, through which he hires employees and plans to grow it further.
