This incident brings to mind a similar alarming event earlier this year at Dronacharya Degree College in Dankaur, Uttar Pradesh. During New Year’s Eve celebrations, around 20 teachers were hospitalized after consuming samosas from a local sweet shop. Subsequent investigations revealed that the samosas, aside from being stale, contained poisonous worms.

In response to the incident, the college principal filed a complaint against the sweet shop owner, seeking justice for the affected teachers.
