‘She’s Suffering From Duryodhan Syndrome’, Actor Nitish Bharadwaj Files Police Complaint Against Ex-Wife

Nitish Bharadwaj, who gained popularity by playing the role of Shri Krishna in Ramanand Sagar’s Mahabharat, has opened a front against his IAS wife Smita Bharadwaj. The actor has accused his wife of kidnapping both their daughters. In a special interview with NEWS 24, Nitish Bharadwaj stated that his wife has not provided him with any information about their daughters for the past four years. He mentioned that she seems to be suffering from a ‘Duryodhan syndrome’, holding onto power excessively.

Speaking with NEWS 24, Nitish Bharadwaj accused his wife, Smita Bharadwaj, of mentally harassing him. He claimed that lies are being told to their daughters. The actor went on to say that his wife Smita seems to be afflicted with the Duryodhan syndrome. He alleged that she is misusing her IAS connections. Nitish further mentioned that he has spoken to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and has been assured of possible assistance.

Bhopal Police Commissioner has transferred the investigation of this high-profile case to Additional CP Zone 3, Shalini Dixit. Nitish Bhardwaj’s wife, Smita Ghate Bhardwaj, holds the position of Additional Secretary in the Welfare Department.

Nitish Bhardwaj gained fame for his portrayal of Shri Krishna in the TV series Mahabharat. In the political realm, he contested and won the Lok Sabha elections from the Jamshedpur seat in 1996. However, his attempt to secure the Rajgarh Lok Sabha seat in Madhya Pradesh in 1999 resulted in defeat.
