New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu underwent a cataract surgery at the Army Hospital (Research and Referral) here on Sunday, an official release from President’s secretariat read.

The surgery was successful and she has been discharged from the Hospital, the statement said.
The 64-year-old was sworn in as the 15th President of India on July 25, 2022. She contested against the joint-opposition Presidential candidate Yashwant Sinha.
