New Delhi: PM Modi virtually distributed appointment letters to 71,206 youths in the country who were selected for government jobs, including 241 youths from Madhya Pradesh. The ‘Employment Fair’ was organised at 45 places across the country, in which PM Modi was virtually involved.
While addressing the audience, PM Modi said that in today’s time, the procedure for applying for jobs is becoming easier through online applications, the advantage of which is that corruption is reduced. But in earlier times, one had to stand in line and then get attested; after that, the application was sent by post. Even after sending the application by post, there was no guarantee that it would reach its destination or not.
Earlier in 2022, the first phase of the employment fair was launched, and PM Modi promised to make 10 lakh recruitments by the end of 2023. The objective of this scheme is to provide employment to youth.
In the programme organised in Bhopal, 241 youths from Madhya Pradesh were given appointment letters. In the programme, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that for those who are being given appointment letters, I want to tell them to remember that after the day’s hard work, when we go to sleep, we should keep our souls clean.
Scindia said, “Do not think that you are coming for a government job; you are coming to serve Mother India with honesty,” because this is the thinking of PM Modi as well.
