Bumrah To Join Squad

Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah, who was released from the squad for the fourth Test in Ranchi, will rejoin the team in Dharamsala for the fifth Test. Washington Sundar has been released from the squad and will join his Ranji Trophy side, Tamil Nadu, for their Semi-final match against Mumbai, starting on March 2nd, 2024. He will join the Indian squad after the conclusion of the domestic fixture for the fifth Test, if required.

Additionally, Mohd. Shami underwent successful surgery on February 26th, 2024, for his right heel issue. He is recuperating well and will soon begin his rehabilitation process at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.
