New Delhi: The name of Sony is getting left behind in the Indian market. Till a few years ago, Sony smartphones used to have a different identity in the premium category. Sony Xperia mobiles were known for their glass body and design and their looks. NFC and IP Rating facility were available only in Sony mobiles. Sony has been out of the Indian smartphone market in the past, but keeping its dominance in the global market, this company is going to launch Sony Xperia 5 IV 5G Phone on September 1, 2022.

Sony has announced the Xperia event through a teaser posted on YouTube. Sony has collaborated with artist Kat Burns. The teaser does not reveal which Xperia phone it is, but it is being speculated that it is the long-discussed Xperia 5 IV. The teaser suggests that the upcoming Xperia smartphone will have a compact form factor. The device is likely to get a pocket-friendly design like other Xperia 5 series smartphones.

Sony Xperia 5 IV Specifications
Little is known about the device yet. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Soc, but the possibility of an older Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor cannot be ruled out at all. Apart from this, 120Hz OLED display, IP68 water resistance, triple camera setup and dual stereo speakers can be given in it. The price and other details of the device are yet to be revealed. More details will definitely be revealed before the launch. A recent FCC listing said that the display of the Xperia 5 IV will be 153.5mm (approximately 6-inches). Apart from this, it could be equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.
