New Delhi: After Airtel, Reliance Jio has announced the launch of 5G internet service in the country from today i.e. Dussehra. Reliance is first testing Jio 5G in four major cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Varanasi. Only a select few users will get the benefit of Jio’s True 5G service. We are telling you how mobile users living in these 4 cities will be able to use 5G internet service in their phones.

Jio will invite users for 5G internet testing

Let us tell you that Reliance Jio’s 5G service is starting from October 5, but it is not available for all mobile users living in these 4 cities. For the beta trial of Reliance Jio’s True-5G service, the company is following the service-on-invitation process. In simple words, the company will allow only select users from existing Jio mobile users to test this service.

In the first beta testing round, the company will test 5G on some users and after that, after Diwali, 5G will be made available to all consumers. According to media reports, the company will give welcome-offers to users during service-on-invitation. For this, users will be given unlimited 5G free data with speed up to 1Gbps.

Airtel 5G launch

Earlier, Airtel has launched 5G internet service in the country from October 01. Airtel has become the first company in the country to launch 5G service. The special thing is that Airtel’s 5G service is available in the first round to all mobile users living in those cities, who live in these cities. Where Airtel has launched 5G service. These cities include Delhi, Mumbai, Varanasi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Siliguri and Kolkata.
