Jio had turned the whole game

The attitude of telecom companies regarding internet i.e. data was similar to SMS. After the entry of Jio, there was a big change in the telecom industry. For the first time, consumers got experience of services like unlimited calling and data.
Before this, people used to work for a whole month in 3GB to 4GB data. After the arrival of Jio, the daily data expenditure reached almost 1GB. After this, there was a change in recharge plans as well and instead of calling, companies focused on data.
Will 4G be amazing in 5G plans as well?
Today you will get most of the plans focused on data. We may not see such a big change in 5G plans, but there will definitely be a change in recharge prices.
Actually, telecom companies have been saying that the ARPU (user on average revenue) has been decreasing for a long time. With 5G service, these companies will get a chance to improve their ARPU.

Along with this, companies have also spent a lot of money in spectrum auction, due to which the plans will come at a premium price. Airtel chairman Sunil Mittal said that consumers will have to spend a little more money for 5G services.
In some recent reports, it was also said that Airtel may not launch 5G service for everyone. This service will be available with select plans, which will come at a higher cost.
