Here we are telling you the complete process of booking confirmed Tatkal tickets through IRCTC. This method is quite easy. For this, you only have to do an option on IRCTC.
Take help of master list option
This option is from the master list. IRCTC gives the facility to the users to create a master list. For this, you have to create a master list by going to IRCTC account settings. In the master list, you can add the details of those whose tickets you want to book.
It contains name, age, Aadhaar number and other information. With this, you will not need to fill this information while booking the seat. After the master list is created, you should login to IRCTC app or website 1 to 2 minutes before to book tatkal tickets.
Tatkal ticket booking for AC starts from 10 AM while for Sleeper its timing has been kept from 11 AM. Suppose if you want to book tatkal ticket for AC, then you have to login IRCTC account by 9.58 pm.

After this, select and keep the train and route through which you want to travel. You can select the passenger details from the master list as soon as the booking of Tatkal tickets starts.
This will save you a lot of time and your chances of getting a confirmed ticket will increase. Similarly, you can save some more time by selecting the option of UPI payment as it is the fastest mode of payment. That is, if you follow these steps then you will get a confirmed Tatkal ticket.
