To compete with the company’s ChatGPT, it has announced its AI chatbot, but it will take time to reach the general users. Sundar Pichai told in his blogpost that the conversational AI service is Bard LaMDA powered. That is, it is an AI chatbot based on LaMDA.

What will be special in Bard?

Google has been working on LaMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Application) for the last several years. The company introduced it two years ago. Sundar Pichai has also told about the capabilities of Google’s chatbot in his blog.

He told that in Bard, users will get to see the combination of power, intelligence and creativity. Bard will gather knowledge with the help of user feedback and information available on the web.
