New Delhi: E-commerce site Flipkart has also entered the metaverse. With this, the shopping experience of Flipkart consumers will change a lot. Flipkart is doing new experiments in web3 to give a new experience to its customers.

For this, Flipkart has partnered with eDAO. The company has named the Metaverse Shopping Experience as Flipverse. It is currently in pilot stage only. But, it is believed that the company is planning to take advantage of this month during the festive season.

Flipverse has been made live on Flipkart’s Android app. The company is providing gamified, interactive and immersive experience to the customers. With this, consumers get the company’s loyalty points Supercoins. Apart from this, digital collectibles are also being given on purchase from partner brands.

In Flipverse, users will also get to play many games. According to a report in Techcrunch, the company said that it is partnering with Puma, Noise, Nivea, Lavie, Tokyo Talkies, Campus, VIP, Ajmal Perfumes and Himalaya. With this, users will get a new experience on Flipverse.

The company said that the doors of future shopping are being opened through Flipverse. The company has said that it is going to be an integral part of Flipkart in the coming time. The company said that 15 years ago he was the first Indian to launch Web 2.0 base commerce.

Now it is the first company that is launching Web 3.0 commerce. However, this is not the first time that the company has forayed into Web 3.0. Even before this, the company has partnered with the Nothing brand and has given exclusive NFT to those who buy smartphones from the platform.
