Apple iOS 17 Beta 2: Apple has handed out the second beta release of iOS 17 to the developer channel, which includes a plethora of new features. The latest move suggests that iOS 17 will be released soon and will include significant enhancements for all eligible iPhones. However, the firm has published the update’s official release date.
With this, the beta 2 version of iOS 17 has a bevy of new features, and here is a list of everything that has been added for developers:
AirDrop feature
The tap to AirDrop feature, which allows users to tap on other devices to exchange files with a smooth animation, was one of the most emphasised features at WWDC 2023.
Message Feature
Apple has also added a safety feature called Message Check-In, which allows users to communicate their whereabouts with their contacts when they arrive at their destination. Users will have complete flexibility over sending their location based on their choices and privacy when using this function.
Music App
Apple has also updated its Music App with a new toggle, unique crossfade length for tracks, and other improvements. Crossfade is a function that allows the app to merge the end of one song with the beginning of another in order to create a smooth transition between songs. The Apple Music Widget, which has configurable sizes and layouts, is also available on the home screen.
StandBy Mode
Another highlight of iOS 17 is the addition of StandBy mode to the iOS 17 beta phase 2, which allows the user to turn off all alerts, and CarPlay now has numerous new wallpapers.
