Harare: India has won the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe by 3-0 as they win the third game by 13 runs. After choosing to bat first, Shubman Gill powered India put 289 runs on board but seemingly struggled to defend it. However, India bowlers managed to do what was needed and won the game with 3 balls left.
Player of the match Shubman Gill achieved a new milestone in life as he scored his first ever ODI century today. Gill played a brilliant knock of 130 runs that helped India put a big target for Zimbabwe. Ishan Kishan helped with his half-century while Shikhar Dhawan contributed with 40 runs.

Sikandar Raza scored 115 runs for Zimbabwe but they weren’t enough to get the win that his side wanted. The hosts fell short of 13 runs and lost entire series to India.
After winning the game, KL Rahul said, “Feels good, we came here with a good ideas. We wanted to be out in the middle and use this time. They have been very professional, very happy with the result. They took the game deep, we would have liked to finish the game earlier. The bowers were tested and they held their nerves. Fielded about 120 overs, got some time out in the middle with the bat.”

“I am tired coming back after a couple of months. But this is what we all want to do, playing for India. (On Gill) He’s been batting well since the IPL. Very pleasing to the eye. Not seen him over-confident. That requires composure, to show that kind of temperament is good.”
