Suryakumar Yadav, India’s special T20 batter, has been sidelined due to an injury. He was leading Team India in the T20 series during the South Africa tour when he sustained an injury. Consequently, Suryakumar had to miss the T20 series against Afghanistan. Following the injury, he underwent a successful groin surgery in Munich, Germany.
Such is the bond between the Hitman and Suryakumar Yadav that he wanted to see his Mumbai Indians teammate Rohit Sharma and Rinku Singh steer India to victory in a nail biting encounter against Afghanistan right after the completion of his surgery.
