During the 60th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, hosted at the Eden Gardens on Saturday, May 11, excitement peaked when a specific six was caught by a KKR supporter wearing a Rinku Singh jersey. The fan, seemingly keen on keeping the ball as a souvenir, attempted to hide it in his pants but was promptly approached by an observant police officer.

The footage of the interaction between the fan and the policeman rapidly circulated on various social media platforms, attracting considerable interest. Following a short standoff, the officer managed to recover the ball and return it to the field.

Nevertheless, he didn’t just stop at retrieving the ball; he also escorted the fan away from the area, ensuring adherence to stadium regulations. Despite the fan’s effort to hold onto the ball, the incident highlighted the authorities’ dedication to upholding order and security during the match.
