New Delhi: New Zealand opener batter Devon Conway, scored his fourth Test hundred against Pakistan in the final Test match at Karachi. The left-arm batter also made 139-runs partnership with Tom Latham giving New Zealand a solid start. The Kiwis captain Tim Southee won the toss and elected to bat first.

Devon Conway has became the first batter to score a test century in 2023. With this Conway has crossed the 1,100-run mark in the Test format of cricket. Kiwi opener during first test match against Pakistan, surpassed the record of Brandon McCullum to become the fastest batter for New Zealand to reach the 1,000-run mark. Conway reached this landmark in 19 innings.

Conway breaks McCullum's record
Conway broke the record of former legendary batter Brandon McCullum of reaching the 1000-run mark. He has also registered the record of most runs gathered for Blackcaps in 2022 in his name. He smashed 1,417 runs from 32 Tests while maintaining an average of 44.28. The tally included two tons. Daryl Mitchell finished as his closest rival with 1,338 runs.
